The 2009 Festival presented David Sanborn and the Midnight Blue Band directed by LesDeMerle featuring vocalist Bonnie Eisele. They performed at the brand new 1000-seat auditorium at First Baptist Church on Eighth Street, Fernandina Beach. By landing a major artist with strong commercial appeal, the Festival considers the Sanborn booking to be a significant milestone in its history.
